Hey boys and girls,

We are pleased to announce the summer writing contest…’Complete the Prompt’

We are looking for adventurous, funny, creative, or unique stories using the following prompt:

Let’s see the flight of your imagination!

This contest is open to kids all around in ages 7 – 18. We have split the categories into the following age groups: 7 – 9, 10 – 11, 12 – 14, and 15 – 18. One winner will be chosen in each category and announced in our next issue.

Submit all entries by August 15th, 2016 (extended deadline is 15th September,2016)

Rules and regulations

• Language of your writing should be English
• Maximum word limit- 2000 words
• Content should be kid friendly
• You may include drawings or pictures in your writing, but they won’t be considered during judging
• Submit your entry as a Microsoft Word document using times roman 12 pt font
• E-mail your submission to [email protected]
• In the subject line put: Our Own Kids’ Writing Contest – Age Category (put your current age here)

Winner Certificates will be provided to the winners and their stories will be published in the next issue of Our Own Kids E-Magazine!
